The Kentucky Academy of Audiology (KAA) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing hearing and balance care across Kentucky through advocacy, education, public awareness, and research. It hosts a high-quality continuing education (CE) program annually, with the next conference set for October 9–10, 2025, in Lexington.
Members benefit from discounted CE rates, networking opportunities and legislative advocacy. KAA actively supports legislative efforts such as single licensure for audiologists (House Bill 458) and hearing-aid coverage reforms (Senate Bill 93), and it also backs Kentucky’s entry into the Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact. The organization engages students through scholarships and free memberships, and provides recorded CE sessions online. KAA’s headquarters are in Frankfort and it continues to be a key voice for audiology professionals across the state.
